The Minority Women Pharmacists Association, Inc. is the first 501c3 nonprofit organization and community for women pharmacists of color. Our pharmacists are committed to using our resources to support each other and provide equitable care to underserved areas.

Our Mission

The mission of the Minority Women Pharmacists Association, Inc. is to empower women pharmacists of color in healthcare, identify areas of inequity to improve healthcare outcomes, and close gaps in care through service to our communities.

We will achieve our mission by:

Promoting the value of pharmacists through our efforts in achieving pharmacist provider status
Engaging in events and initiatives that foster diversity at work and in the community
Educating our communities on the various roles of a pharmacist and how, as healthcare providers, we contribute to improved health outcomes
Utilizing philanthropy to give back to the communities we serve

Strengthening Resilience for a Healthier Future

We aim to promote our presence in the healthcare industry and provide exceptional service to our communities.

The Minority Women Pharmacists Association believes quality of life and well-being are top priorities.

By promoting equity in the workplace and healthcare, we will continuously fight for the success of women pharmacists in all capacities.

The Minority Women Pharmacists Association advocates for pharmacists' well-being, resiliency, and obtaining provider status.
